Arabinogalactan — a gentle prebiotic from Siberian larch
A water-soluble polysaccharide extracted from Dahurian larch (Larix dahurica). Selectively nourishes beneficial gut bacteria, supports immune function and helps bind and eliminate heavy metals and toxins. Has a mild, slightly sweet taste.
What is arabinogalactan and who needs it
A soluble dietary fibre from larch wood with confirmed prebiotic and immune-modulating properties, studied since the 1990s.
Arabinogalactan (AG) is a highly branched, high-molecular-weight polysaccharide found abundantly in the wood of Dahurian larch. In the colon, it is fermented by bifidobacteria and lactobacilli, stimulating growth of beneficial microflora and the production of short-chain fatty acids (butyrate, propionate) — key nutrients for the gut mucosa.
AG is almost completely water-soluble, forming a smooth solution with a mildly sweet flavour. This makes it exceptionally convenient for daily use: simply dissolve the powder in warm water and drink it as a regular supplement beverage.
Beyond its prebiotic effect, arabinogalactan binds and facilitates the excretion of heavy metals, radionuclides and metabolic waste products — making it especially relevant for people living in industrialised or polluted environments.
Who benefits most
Key properties
Prebiotic
Selectively feeds bifidobacteria and lactobacilli. Stimulates short-chain fatty acid production, supporting gut mucosa health and a balanced microbial ecosystem.
Immune support
Activates NK cells and macrophages via intestinal immune receptors. Helps the body respond more effectively to pathogens during respiratory virus season.
Sorbent and detox
Binds and eliminates heavy metals, radionuclides and metabolic by-products. Gently cleanses the gut without irritating the intestinal lining.
Gut motility
Soluble fibre normalises stool consistency and supports regular peristalsis — without laxative effects.
How to take
Arabinogalactan fits easily into your daily routine — just dissolve in warm water.
Scientific evidence
Larch arabinogalactan has been studied as an immune modulator and prebiotic since the 1990s.

«I live next to a busy road — wanted something gentle for gut comfort without a drama. A glass of water with the powder in the morning; the taste is neutral. The team answers WhatsApp the same day if I have a silly question about timing.»
