Dihydroquercetin — natural protection for blood vessels and cells

A bioflavonoid extracted from Siberian larch (Larix sibirica) with 91% purity. One of nature's most potent antioxidants: neutralises free radicals, strengthens capillary walls and reduces oxidative stress at the cellular level.

What is dihydroquercetin and who needs it

A pure bioflavonoid from Siberian larch — one of the most studied plant antioxidants with documented vascular and cell-protective effects.

Dihydroquercetin (DHQ, taxifolin) is a flavonoid abundantly present in the heartwood of Siberian and Dahurian larch. It belongs to the same chemical family as quercetin but shows superior water solubility and bioavailability. Our extract achieves 91% purity — one of the highest concentrations available commercially.

DHQ acts as an electron donor, directly neutralising superoxide and hydroxyl radicals — the most damaging reactive oxygen species. In capillary tissues it reduces permeability and fragility of small blood vessels, helping to prevent oedema and haematomas.

Unlike synthetic antioxidants, DHQ is a natural compound that has been present in the human diet for millennia through plant foods. The Siberian larch is an exceptionally rich and sustainable source.

Who benefits most

🫀People with cardiovascular concerns — supporting capillary integrity and healthy blood viscosity
Those focused on healthy ageing — reducing oxidative stress, a primary driver of cellular senescence
🏙Urban residents and smokers — elevated antioxidant demand from environmental pollution and toxins
🩺Post-illness recovery — supporting tissue repair and reducing inflammation-related oxidative damage

Key properties

🛡

Antioxidant protection

91% pure DHQ neutralises superoxide, hydroxyl and peroxyl radicals — protecting DNA, proteins and lipids from oxidative damage at the cellular level.

🩸

Capillary protection

Reduces permeability and fragility of capillary walls, supports healthy microcirculation and helps prevent bruising and oedema in peripheral tissues.

🧹

Detoxification support

Stimulates cytochrome P450 liver enzymes, enhancing the body's natural detoxification pathways. Supports liver function under chemical or metabolic stress.

💧

Anti-oedema effect

By normalising capillary permeability, DHQ reduces fluid leakage into tissues — helping to ease swelling associated with poor venous return or inflammation.

Composition

Dihydroquercetin (taxifolin) Primary active compound — bioflavonoid 91%
Related bioflavonoids Natural co-factors from larch heartwood 9%

How to take

DHQ dissolves easily in water — just stir and drink. Best taken before a meal for optimal absorption.

1
Measure 1 level scoop (370–400 mg)
Use the included measuring spoon. One level scoop equals the standard single serving.
2
Dissolve in 100–150 ml of water
Room temperature or slightly warm water. DHQ dissolves quickly and the solution is almost colourless.
3
Take 30 minutes before a meal
Pre-meal intake on an empty or nearly-empty stomach improves absorption of the flavonoid.
4
Repeat 1–3 times per day
Standard preventive dose: 1 serving per day. For therapeutic use, consult your doctor for a personalised protocol.

Scientific evidence

Dihydroquercetin (taxifolin) has been studied in pharmacological research since the 1990s, with a growing body of evidence for its antioxidant and vascular effects.

Customer reviews

«Taking DHQ for three months — noticeably fewer bruises on my legs and generally better circulation. The powder dissolves instantly in water.»

Alexey, 51 · regular customer

«My doctor recommended a vascular antioxidant. The team explained the DHQ dosage clearly over Telegram. Happy with the quality and the service.»

Irina, 58 · Irkutsk

«I spend most days between a desk and flights — my legs used to feel heavy by dinner. After a few months of DHQ, evenings feel lighter. I take acerola in the morning on their advice; both dissolve easily.»

Ksenia, 41 · Moscow

Frequently asked questions

Dihydroquercetin (taxifolin) and quercetin are structurally related but different molecules. DHQ has better water solubility and is extracted as a pure natural compound from larch wood — not synthesised chemically. It also has documented capillary-protective properties that distinguish it from standard quercetin supplements.
DHQ is generally well tolerated, but if you are taking anticoagulants (warfarin, aspirin-based drugs) or immunosuppressants, consult your doctor first. The antioxidant action may modulate the effects of some medicines.
For preventive use, DHQ can be taken continuously for 1–3 months, followed by a break. For specific therapeutic goals, your doctor will advise on duration. The antioxidant effect accumulates over time — consistency matters more than intensity.
Yes. The product is manufactured to dietary supplement standards and the purity level (91%) is confirmed by laboratory analysis. Documentation is available on request when placing an order.

Many customers combine them: the two support antioxidant balance in complementary ways. You may stagger servings so you are not drinking two powders back-to-back on an empty stomach if that feels harsh — ask us for a simple schedule, and tell your doctor if you take prescription drugs.
We do not use that kind of claim. This is a food supplement, not a medicine for atherosclerosis. The language on our site is about antioxidant support and everyday wellbeing alongside your doctor’s plan if you have a diagnosed condition.
